Astro and his classmates go on a field trip to see a dam and stay in a lodge. Due to a storm, an upstream dam is on the point of breaking. Astro’s jets fail so the party tries to flee on a D51 steam locomotive kept in the lodge. An old man from the lodge, who was the automatic operating device, asks to incorporate himself into the SL.
