In this episode we will explore well known destinations of France. In Provence, we follow the scent of lavender to see Europe’s deepest canyon. The south of France offers unexpected experiences and surprises. For example, one region is home to both azure skies and ski resorts. And the Riviera truly is a sight to behold. Corsica is a poorer French Island shaped like a clenched fist. It seems as if someone cut out a piece of the Alps and situated it on the Mediterranean Sea. From there we journey to Brittany to see the magic of Celtic menhirs in Carnac, watch the industrial production of sea oysters, and taste delicious cider. This westernmost outpost of continental France is known mainly for its mystical, eerie monuments. Legend has it that Merlin the magician lived here in the deep forest of Broceliande, where King Arthur and his knights searched for the Holy Grail.
